What is Wheel Backspace? - Toyota Yaris Forums

I am looking to get some custom 15x8 steelies... Is backspace some form of offset? It's referenced in inches... For example, it says 15x8 wheels with a 2" - 5" backspace.

I should be able to fit them with some pull, roll and camber bolts right?

so, 15X8 wheel with a 4" backspace would be a 15X8 +0MM ET.

15X8 wheel with a 5" backspace would be a 15X8 +26MM ET.

even with a 5" backspace you're gonna have some issues getting these to fit on a yaris. plus the diamond racing wheels aren't exactly light..

no problem man. i'll be posting pix of a 15X8 +7ET rear, +20ET front in a short while, with a 225 50 15, just to give you guys a reference of how much work you'll have to do to get them to fit. i personally think it can be done, but i know Kimona will be here shortly to delete this post.
