Garm's working on it. hehehe. Will more likely be $2.5-3k is the last time he mentioned pricing, but this was A LONG time ago. Things might have changed.

you could do a Stage 0 turbo kit easily for that and make 30-50- whp.
Garrett GT2554R turbo, internal wastegate at 6psi cast log manifold (see turbotoyotas.com for that) lines piping BOV 1ZZ injectors (maybe) optional, but recommended: gauges (oil pressure, air/fuel, boost/vac) bam!

6 psi is relatively easy, I believe the stock ECU can handle that. (Can't prove it, though).
15-20 psi is a bit more tricky.

It will make more power and last longer (longevity/wear and tear) with an intercooler, but it can be run without.

sure why not. I ran 8psi unmanaged for several months, Tamago ran his unmanaged. We are talking about 6psi -- you might have to monkey with injectors and such, but I think it's doable.
What we DON'T have is a tested kit with the parts I said you need and some road time to prove my theory.

Bro , you can add 30 hp with a dry shot of nitrous man(I have new pictures coming soon...) . If you know a thing or two about turbo components and the basic's about turbo charging, then a desent kit can be pieced together for under 2k Imo

But, if you don't have the equipment to make brackets, tap oil lines, etc., then you will have to pay someone else to do it and I bet you will go over $2k.

ok got it. How about commenting on the idea overall, that might be more helpful to the OP.
Maybe I have my head up my butt and you can NOT run the car at 6psi without management. Wouldn't be the first time.

I'd rather spend the extra $350 + tuning time to make sure I didn't need to spend $400 repeatedly for a new motor. :(

OP,
you can add 30hp to the yaris for under $500 nitrous. if your goals are HIGHER, go boost. but a mere 30hp would be more cost effective doing nitrous. use that other $1500 for your first 40 bottle fillups (or more, depending on your source)
