I looked through the service manual and spec docs and can't find its rating. The only reference to current is in a testing section where they mention that under load (headlights on, heater on, fan on high) an ammeter should read over 30 Amps and with no load it should read about 10 Amps.
If it is an 80 Amp alt, then basically you have about 600 Watts @ 12V available under load and about 840 Watts @ 12V with no load before you are drawing off the battery, rather than the generator/alternator |
