Clay bar it for sure. I do all my cars prolly 2 times a year, and then wax 'em afterwards. The clay bar is easy to use and does not take that long, it should get that gritty stuff outta the paint, my Yaris had the same feeling the day I bought it, then I used a clay bar, smooth as butta...
