I beg to differ. Domination by intimidation is perfectly proper. I would say it infront of any child in my family . It is a tactic used by the police and military. By intimidating a person (making them timid) they achieve dominance (power) over them. It is used to help avoid incidents of physical violence. These are the correct and exact terms used by members of these forces. Any one who reads a sexual connotation in to this needs needs to give some serious thought as to why they do.

I though you were refering to my mention dominance and intimidation, which do have some mild sexual undertones. hehe

hahaha, that's the first time I've heard someone reporting a word in. Must have been really derogatory. Mind if you PM me what it was, I think I missed it.

I know what you mean, PK, I saw it, too. I don't get offended by language most of the time (I drop the F, S bomb myself more often than I should) but that word just rubs me the wrong way for some reason, IDK. I guess I'm not the only one.

Ah Ha it was right after my post and I just took it way

I never quite thought of a Clockwork Orange quite that way, maybe we could make some and sell them through Adam&Eve.com.

Yeah, but its not an appropriate word, maybe in the "invite only" group, but not in this thread. I think you should edit that word out, if you want us all to refrain from using mild profanity words ie: a**, sh*t, etc....

If you tell someone to do something, you should follow up with yours as well, alright PK.

Just a friendly suggestion from previous mod experiences~

Personally, I think mild profanity is OK, but "mild" is the keyword here.

Don't forget sexual orientation.

I have some gay friends, and I get offended for them when someone says, "That's gay."

see i say that all the time and i just don't think it's offensive. cause when i say it i don't mean anything towards homosexuals at all. that phrase has taken on a new meaning and i just don't think people of that sexual orientation should be offended. much the same way that gay use to mean happy but it doesn't anymore. technically it does but people don't use it in that way. and so when i use "that's gay" to describe something stupid it has nothing to do with what i think of gays in general. cause i got no problem with homosexuality. i got gay friends. hell, i've got a few family members i suspect are gay.

maybe it is stupid of me to say what you should or shouldn't find offensive but i really would like to stress that i don't think most people mean anything towards gay people when they use the phrase.

Actually, TK, I'm not sure we're competely off-topic, you know...

Let's say a police officer stops you because of your tint and gives you a ration of [blip] , remember, it's probably best to say "will do, officer" and be on your way rather than "no way in f'... h..., it's my G...d.... mo... f'ing right, you f' @ss.....e " ahem...

just sayin'
