Slow days are the normal days.

I just notice the fast/good days that my car has.

I 100% understand about what everyone is talking about. Some days my car just is horrible. Then other days its the best thing ever. Its weird, and i only use Shell gas. I have never put any other gas in there. And usually the car acts bad on colder days.

Could it be that on the so called "sluggish" days.... your gas tank is full or somewhat full... and on the "quicker" days your gas tank is closer to a quater of a tank or even near empty??? This crossed my mind today mostly cause my yaris seemed to be a lot more zippy-er and it was below 1/4 tank.

5.93 to 6.42 lbs, depending on temperature, type and blend (e.g. with methanol, water, benzene etc).

The question was "what does gas weigh a gallon?"

ah, 60 ponds lighter could make the yaris seem quicker, IMO.

I suspect that the weight of gas and A/C use are definite factors here. Also, the Yaris seems fairly sensitive to humidity and air temp. Since I've installed the CAI, I notice significantly more pep, even when the air is hot. When its really humid, nothign really helps with the loss of "oomph."
I've been tracking my intake air temp with the Scangauge for a while, both before and after the CAI, and the correlation between the change in air temp is pretty apparent to me.

i'd say my yaris is groggy in the morning, or late dewy nights; including the clutch...but then again I have a feeling that it might just be me, haha
