Automatic transmissions are smart, but if you think they make the best decision(for wear on the engine) every time, you have entirely too much faith. I'm not the only one who has noticed the "jumpiness" coming out of turns and on hills. The ONLY thing getting more wear from me gear limiting is the gear selector, and I'll take my chances on that one. |
