Decided to tint my sedan tail lights but only the ugly chrome.

So i dont know why but on the sedan the only chrome is really the rear piece on the trunk and the tail lights. Trying to go for a clean look almost vip i decided to tint them. Below are some pics of how they came out. What do you guys think should i have gone darker or looks good?

And here is the stupid spider that somehow cralled into my trunk and died in the tail light. I have no clue how to get it out. Without spending hours dissasembling my entire tail light....

I think a before and after would help. Don't know what I'm looking for to compare.

Sorry the top right is a after then second is a before on the left side then third is a comparison left is untinted right is tinted and final is both tinted. Its very subtle you kinda have to look carefully to tell.

I say darker would have been a little better, but it's a nice touch for sure!

I would say darker, but to reduce the contrast might get the cops after you.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing. I actually thought it was goign to be little darker but came out lighter than i expected. I didnt want to go too dark because cops in the bay area are pricks. I already have tinted front windows and i dont want to attract them to pull me over. Tinting too dark my tail lights or entire tail light is a surefire way to get pulled over for a fixit.

Then they might give me a fixit for my window tint and no front license plate.
