I removed the felt-like disc at the bottom of the cupholder in the console, which revealed a hex screw. I removed the screw. Dropped in the armrest, but despite my best efforts, I can get that original screw (or the brass one shipped with the armrest) to reach down into the threads. It lines up OK, but it seems I'll need to dig around for a longer screw.
UPDATE: For the 2010 3 DR LB, I had to pick up an M6-1.00 X 30 Hex Cap Screw (Pack of 4 at Lowe's - Hillman P/N #880657). That reached fine, and did a good job of securing it. Nice! Last edited by msmitka; 10-17-2009 at 01:43 PM. |
