Most Reliable Cars of 2009/2010 (MSN)

A good read, especially to see the Versa failing in comparison to its other sub-compact competitors. :) Six speed manual yeah....but our 5 speed comes out on top~ |

Good article. Consumer Report does a good job of reporting because they don't take advertising.

In that article CR said that the Nissan Versa is the least reliable in it's class, but on their website it's CR recommended?
The Yaris has below average performence? IMHO the Yaris has decent performence. |

The Yaris does way better than what the price its worth or bought at...
To me, i feel like i paid $14000 for the engine itself and everything else inside the car and out cost about 5 cents each :P People testing out the Yaris don't really slam the pedal, they probably base it on going from 0-30~40 mph only...my guess~~~ |

my dad own a versa 90k on it already, no problem. My yaris almost 70K no problem, i think it's more depend on how you take care of your car.

"Some very reliable models do not perform well enough in our road tests for us to recommend them. One example is the Toyota Yaris: Its ironclad reliability doesn't make up for its below-average performance." So annoying how these publications / websites go on about low performance... they must just be making assumptions without driving the car.
Funny too in this case, because if you click the link on that page for more information about the Yaris, you get to a page that says this: "The Yaris is offered as both a liftback and a sedan for the U.S. and is designed to offer a level of style and fun-to-drive performance that is often not found in the subcompact class while the interior provides a surprising level of roominess and comfort." |
