The smell of brass and burning powder...

Fun Sunday morning at the range with a couple SCAR L pieces. I don't think I got pics of the SCAR H...I'll have to ask for that one from one of the boys...

Nice little holo sights as well as the Specter DR sight. I was mistaken when I thought the ACOG was the be all and end all of sights. Oh yeah...supressed is always in good form.

The trusty M4 with another DR sight. Hate the factory gas tube in these...they like to expand after about 200 rounds. No bueno to that! Also had fun with those trusty Kalashnikovs, flimsy as they are, they'll be by your side until the very end without fail. Full auto is not recommended for point targets...

How about this, the brass can was EMPTY not just an hour and a half prior to this picture...

I won't say what system made most of the brass leftovers...I'd love to show it to you, but I'll just keep it. Some of the fellows wouldn't appreciate those pictures out in public. One doesn't piss off the "Special Friends"...

Here's to the "ghost" of Sadr City! They keep heads down because of you!

Everybody drools over the SCAR at my local shop. Too rich for my blood, though. I can't remember - isn't one of these (the semi-auto civilian version) like $3,500?

Heck that Specter sight is almost that much...

I'm still on the fence with the feel of the SCARs. I like the feel of my M4. Still, I'm under the impression that the SCAR systems are much more reliable.

I despise the gas tube in my M4. After several hundred rounds, I'm having to wait until the thing cools...no bueno in a bad situation.

well like mama always use to say. If you haven't dealt with the situation after "several hundred rounds" then you don't deserve to hold the gun =p. several hundred and bad situation is over.

This is true...but one NEVER knows. Mr. Murphy is ALWAYS waiting to throw something at you...There are usually more targets than just one. Still, one shot one kill. One also never knows when you're going to have to extract from a site and "peel out".

But that is why we throw back with the system that created all that brass...mwahaha!

The bad guys don't duck for a Stryker, but they hide when they see that system. It's really strange. Perhaps it's just the sound and all that brass hitting the ground with .308 rounds flying like no one's business!

Again, here's to the Ghost of Sadr City! BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!
