I have a Pair of BA z6 in the front doors w/ 3/4" spacers...they mounted just fine. The tweeters are mounted seperately...I can tell the z6's are about at the end of their life. I was wanting to upgrade to their newest spz60. From what I could see from the two manual the SPZ60 has a mounting depth that is 0.2125" deeper than the Z6 almost a whole quarter of an inch. From the pictures it appears that the SPZ60's surround extrudes farther thatn the Z6's. I was thinking of using either a 1/2" or 5/8" spacer instead to curcumvent this.........drew113087 is thinking that he might be getting close to the window. If anybody has any experience installing the Boston Acoustics SPZ60 in their vehicle; advice would be apreciated. What size spacers did u use; or did they even fit at all? I drive a 2007 yaris sedan.
