I've got some rattle under the hood from modding the airbox and swapping the throttle body that I can fix easily and will sooner or later...

I have some rattle in the hatch that has been bothering me lately. The rear seat is out, so I can hear it nicely while I'm driving. I'm gonna have to move some stuff around back there and check it out...

Nearly 60,000 kl. on my sedan and pounding around for the past 45,000 on TRD suspension. Still no rattles, which surprizes me considering road conditions here.

Dasboard +1-

but only over pretty big bumps- otherwise tight for a 12,000 dollar car

but only 9K miles- the true test comes at 50K plus miles

Luckily, no rattles yet (Yaris is over 3 years old). Now if this was a tC forum, I would have a major complaint about a hatch rattle.

I get a rattle when the cupholders on the dash are open. The bar that presses against a cup, or can, or whatever, rattles. If I close the cupholder, the rattle goes away.

Luggage cover on my hatchback rattles sometimes on warm days only it seems. I had the dash pod rattle on cool mornings, but since the dealer had to take the entire dash out to replace the a/c evap. I had the foam kit TSB installed at the same time-fixed, other than a minor trim gap from the foam pushing on it. And yes, I've noticed the same thing with the cup holder rattling if open and no cup in it.

I have 0 rattles in my 07. Road noise, yes - but I don't hold that against her. :)

I have had a seriously annoying rattle that I have not pinpointed yet. It seems to come from the rear of the center console or under the seat; I have taken the console apart thinking it was the hand brake cable or splitter (as it sounds like a steel cable vibrating against metal)... nothing, the wires or cables in the passenger seat mechanism... nothing, the plastic covers over the jack or the body numbering plate, nothing...

I'm seriously thinking about not buying a toyota again and get rid of this one sooner than I'd have liked.

60k and no rattles. I even bent my radiator support (Yaris Amateur Rally, LOL) The only rattles are from loose objects in the boot area like metal rulers and pens.

after getting HVAC TSB done dashboard has been nothing but rattles. im going under the notion that if you take it to a dealer and get a shitty tech then the outcome of his work is shitty....

That's pretty harsh judging Toyota on a rattle in this econo-box, Even tho this is an amazing little car... (Have you found out the seat fold flat yet?) Maybe you had a bad experience other than the rattling? It could be an acorn in the frame or something crazy like that...

22,000 miles and no rattles from the Yaris itself. Stuff inside it at times, yes.

I finally heard the engine noise talked about in all the reviews. With the windows up, radio off, 5th gear going up an incline at 60 mph I hear the engine!! Makes me all warm and fuzzy knowing it is still running so it doesn't bother me.
