Does it matter? To a Federal Bureaucrat it matters. To me, ..... I just disabled the TPMS and have no sensors at all in my aftermarket summer wheels. My winter wheels still have them but they are just useless rotating mass now.

If it doesn't bother you to have that low tire pressure warning light constantly lit, and you'll keep your tire pressure checked regularly, it's no biggie.

how did you disable your TPMS? I'm looking for a solution to end once and for all the constant tire pressure light. I didnt get the sensors installed on my after market rims..and don't want to deal with the light anymore

i read your original post then the pg 3 info w/ all the parts from radio shack...post 115 just looks like the brown wire was cut and tied to the white wire #6. is this correct?
and if so, what did you use to connect the brown and white wires?

I went through a couple iterations of the mod and then one day realized that the simplest method was what I drew in 115.

You are correct with simply cutting the brown and connecting it to the white. You can use a simple tap splice connector to do it (available from any autoparts store).
