yah it hooks into the OBD port.... plug and play bro. just mount it with something reusable and you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply, but what I was really asking was does it actually unplug @ the gauge/unit itself, or is it wired in permanently? I know that the OBDII port powers the unit. I should have been more clear.

edit: I looked at some photos on the thread...doesn't look like it's removable.
