You weren't adding 1 filter multiple times to your cart were you? If that was the case... it might calculate shipping as if it were shipping multiple packages instead of one big package.

nope..sorry I changed the number to 9, clicked on update cart, and then typed in zip code. Over $16 for shipping. You said it yourself, "bigger package." The bigger a package is, the more it is going to cost to ship it. Thats with any order with any company.
Still wondering how you are getting the filters for $4 with free shipping?
