Makes it very difficult for shops that do general automotive repair. You almost have to be a specilist shop that specializes on only one make or model. Unless ofcourse its honda or toyota. All their cars are easy to work on and require very little special tools.

when I flipped my 4runner in the woods (it happens when you actually go offroad) the shop that fixed it was used to doing Fords. the dude fixing it was wicked happy at how easy the 4runner was to take apart with 4 metric wrenches, vs a Ford with 8 diff wrenches, screwdrivers and shims and bloody knuckles.
