price of a new Yaris after usual haggling?

I want to purchase a 2010 Yaris with the following specs:

Automatic
5 Door Hatchback
Power Package
Weather Package
Cruise Control

The smiley salesman gave me an initial offer of $16100 and 0% APR for 60 months + tax, title and fees.

He stopped smiling when I told him I want the car for $14500, which would come out to $16000 OUT THE DOOR.

I've never purchased a new car before and am not sure how far to push.

I am in NJ.

$16,100 is a lot, you can get him down to at least $15,000.

My dealer is selling all of his Yarii at $100 over invoice. I don't know if 0% APR can be had at that price though...

0% APR is a Toyota Financing incentive, the dealer can't decline you the APR.

UPDATE:

My lowest quote so far is $15,378 (including cruise control) + TTL.
The salesman rebuffed my $16,000 OTD offer, but said he is willing to go lower if I come in and talk face to face.

Another dealership I visited had the car on the lot, I was serious about making an offer, but they refused to install the cruise control! The issue was not the price of the module. He said "that part controls speed and if an accident happens, we want no part of it".

Now I am very concerned dealers across my area will flake out when faced with a buyer who absolutely wants cruise control. After what the media did to Toyota I must say its understandable, but frustrating nonetheless.

How low do you guys think I can push these smiley salesman? Any other tips/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Go talk to him face to face, if he won't give you what you want just let him know that another dealer has already agreed to a similar price.
