Sorry to here about you loss
I really like the Texas Castle Law, if my car alarm goes off, I will go outside with my gun. I have the right to defend my home and my property with deadly force and there is nothing I hate more than a thief. http://www.mysanantonio.com/opinion/...age=2#storytop The "castle doctrine" helps protect law-abiding people in their homes or business. It removes the hesitation of calculating an intruder's intentions and potential weapons, thus allowing the individual to protect him- or herself, loved ones and property without hesitation.
