Sorry to here about you loss
I really like the Texas Castle Law, if my car alarm goes off, I will go outside with my gun. It removes the hesitation of calculating an intruder's intentions and potential weapons, thus allowing the individual to protect him- or herself, loved ones and property without hesitation.
