Moving Again?! :-(

Ok so over this past holiday weekend alot has happened and I figured I'd let the YW community in on it...

Fist off I became single again! at least now I wont have anyone yelling at me when I spend money on my Yaris!

Second I've decided to move back to MD in December () as I was offered a job that I just cant let slip through my fingers. this of course entails another cross-country road trip (3rd this year)

All of this is leading up to me fulfilling my dream to turn my Yaris into a motorhome!

My plan is to send everything in a PODS back to MD and to do the trip with just my car, cat, and bearded dragon. thus having no need for the back seat or even the passenger side seat.

so heres my plan: I want to take out the rear seat and the passenger side seat and send them in the POD. then cut a plywood (or some sort of wood) to fit into the newly emptied space and covering the wood with some sort of foam bedding (kid of like in a futon) giving me a ~7ft long space for me to sleep on the passenger side, space for my bearded dragons 75 gallon tank right behind the drivers seat, and not to mention all of the storage space under where the passenger seat was and where the back seat was. Then I would buy removable window curtains that I could put up for all the windows for when I sleep.... This way I could basically take my time driving and pulling over anywhere (safe) when I get tired (day or night) and taking a nap or sleeping.

I also plan on doing the DIY cruise control that CTScott has done to save my right foot!

PS: I want to do another meet before I leave and possibly another Adams Motor sport park meet before I go because I dont think that we have those kinda tracks back in MD...

Let me know what you think guys and of course as always constructive criticism is always appreciated!

sounds like you have it all figured out...pretty cool way to do a road trip. Just don't get tempted to roll into that inviting bed while you drive! lol, best of luck!

^ WHAT!!!!!!!!
we're losing a member from our Yaris meets......not happy about this at all.
But wherever you earn your money that's where you shall go...can't mod much, nor keep this basass car w/o money :P

I'll miss how you kept that Porsche Boxster behind our trail of Yaris cars during the meet :(
I guess i should not put off the next biggest meet, for you, and everyone's sake.

Damn, that sucks that you're moving. I'll keep an eye out for the meet and see if it will fit into my class schedule.
