That's pretty cool for the price!
but: 1. It doesn't nearly have the feature set of the ScanGauge 2. The company doesn't provide a phone number. Good luck if you ever have a problem.

I have also read that the unit doesn't support the metric :(
scangauge is too expensive for my usage and there is no cheaper alternative or place where you can find used one :( |

I don't have one, but it looks really cheaply made.

I have an Ultra-gauge and it was less than half the price of a scanguage II. I have it mounted behind the wheel where its easily seen and yes... it does work as advertised. 3 configurable pages of six gauges (all the gauges your car supports...) not bad. Its well made too. The relatively large screen is glass so fingerprints are easily removed. It can read and reset error codes and it has configurable alarms too. Last but not least 60 days to return if not satisfied but most everyone will be.
One thing to consider is how much you want to invest in instrumentation. If you're buying these things in hopes of saving money by driving more economically, then you need to ask yourself how much you think it will improve your mileage. If that's say 5 miles per gallon (not unrealistic IMOP) then its going to take you one heck of a lot of time and miles driven to re-coop a $170 scanguage investment and not a small number of miles for an ultragauge either. If you're only interested in fuel consumption then the ecometer with its blinking lights looks good... but the ultragauge is a much better option. I recommend it. |

What exactly are you after? Its possible a cal. factor could do the trick.. You would have to study the manual (its on the web page for download) |

In the vehicle set-up page there are some calibration options. Depending on what you're after you may be able to make it read metric by adjusting those cal. factors or...
punt... and buy a scangauge II or .. Wait until he releases a metric version. I should of put a caveat: I recommend it for anyone not needing metric |
