I have my boost guage and BOV tapped off my evap. purge solinoid vac. line. I used a couple of vaccume T's. This line is easy accessible next to T-body. The purge control solinoid is only open during idle, so it does not affect readings on guage.

I've overfilled my tank on a cool night and the next day when it got hot out, and after the gas had expanded, the EVAP valve open while cruising down the road at 60Km/h and the car started to stall. Needless to say it was dumping raw gas through the vacuum line and flooding the motor. But it's only happen 2 time in over 100K km, and only by over filling the tank. |
