woot! krusty you are big help! hahahaha i feel really dumb but my little brain couldnt think of that.
i am currently in the process of waiting for the first coat of primer to dry

i think its also safe to say that maybe for 09 + they attached it differently because everyone else was saying its the same as emblems with residue and what not, but actually this piece for me was all screws only. (i drive 09 sedan)

so thanks for the help! also if anyone has questions about doing this let me know!
