They usually just deduct it from your amount to be financed, so you are paying less for the car.

You couldn't GIVE me an Aveo.

I'm surprised the Fiesta is still only at about 3,000 units. I assume it's still because of low inventory levels but Ford's gotta be catching up soon. I still barely see any on Ford lots.

I fully expect the Fiesta to approach Versa sales levels. It's clearly the best car in many ways in its class.

I also rented an Aveo and was amazed at how crappy it was. Felt like the tin can that it is and yet sucked gas. I got only about 27 MPG in the same conditions as I get 38 MPG in my bigger, heavier, and more powerful Yaris.

Yeah, I got 25 MPG with the Aveo on the highway, when I should have rented a Nissan Altima, my dream car, and I would have got 34 MPG.

Fiesta may also be selling slow because they start at about 15,500 for a hatch. I saw a loaded one at a dealer for almost 20,000. As much as I like the Fiesta, it is a little cramped. Given the choice, I'd still go Yaris.
