The point of HID is to get as close to natural light as possible, which hovers between 4100K and 5000K. Your 8000K blues and 12000K purples may look fantabulous in the parking lot but, when coupled with the fact that most HIDs on this site are installed in Yaris reflectors not designed anywhere near optimal capacity for the HID bulbs, they are form over function in the most severe sense and, in many cases, the light output is so scattered that the actual illumination is worse than stock, off the shelf halogens. And I don't know about you, but when it comes to driving out in the country here in SE Georgia, I want my lights to work as efficiently as possible. Not look blue. Just some food for thought. -SAV
