manual or automatic for newbie?

Sometimes i feel like my auto transmission when it goes 3rd to 4th gear, sometimes it sticks to 4000rpm at 100kmh without really pushin it and ts like its never gonna shift. Then when the speed is REALLY constant it shift finally. Guess i do something wrong.

Nope. It's not your fault. The trans is pretty smart so if the car has been "working", such as climbing a hill or (as we say in Maine) "your givin' her a good hot suppa' " the trans will anticipate the need to hold third gear awhile instead of constantly shifting. Honestly, one of the best features of the AT in my opinion as this is one of the things that drove me crazy about traditional autos. Coupled with the engine braking and DFCO this was a major sell on the AT for me, and I have traditionally bought manuals.
