I've got 46k on my stock pads that came with the car. I was thinking it was probably getting close as well, but I haven't heard any squeaking so I haven't thought too much about it.
By the way, not to derail or steal the thread, but it reminded me, I would consider myself a "hobbyist" wrencher and scanned the DIY list sticky and saw no DIY for changing yaris brake pads. Is there a good step by step DIY or should I look for it in the service manual somewhere? (I downloaded the one available here) Is it worth doing myself or should I just take it to some brake place? |
