I can't talk for JBougie, but I have the MI springs on stock shocks. I did cut the bump stop.

I didn't feel any difference in ride quality though. But then again I only had the car for 300ish miles before I installed the MI springs.

I went to fat cat motorsports online and purchased their shortened bumpstops, still running OEM shocks just fine. Waiting for them to go out before I replace them with some good ones. So far the car handles awesome, can't wait to see what improved shocks do.

I don't know if it was needed but we cut mine, just the first nub.
