I just think there should be two planes on every route - one for those who agree to be searched, and one for those who refuse to be searched....

I know which one I'm flying on.

If it's the one without the searches, then I'll probably be sitting in the same row as you. I'd rather die on a plane than take-on an unscheduled prostate exam...

Hey, Hey, Hey, you can't say bad stuff about TSA. They are the government. They don't have to follow rules, regulations or even Amendments. They might be recording this thread as we type.

Anyway, I want their job. I want to be the guy getting paid watching naked people all day in high def. I'll just have my buddies randomly picking hot girls for my strip search.

I'm with you. I have nothing but pity for the poor soul who has to look at me in the scanner. And I'd prefer to let the "I don't want to be searched" crowd find out WHY people are searched....

Those machines show more details than I want the person I'm sleeping with seeing No way, I would be completely creeped out by that machine and would avoid it like the plague!

^ you would lol

Now - the pictures above don't really show any detail, did they change the software since this whole thing originally cameout? Because the old pictures they had floating around were a whole lot more graphic than those.

I'll choose the scanner. If that is all the TSA screener can see and he/she gets turned on by that, they have a problem. Anyone who saw me in the Snakepit (1st turn infield) at the Indy 500 in the late 70's saw more!

I don't see the big deal over scanners or pat downs. Maybe it's having been in the military. idk. It's like people who had the duty of watching you urinate during a urinalysis, I really don't think they are getting all that much enjoyment out of it. It's just their job.

And women, seriously, your gyno sees way more than this every time you get a pap (which should be annually at least). You are giving up a certain amount of privacy for the sake of your health so I don't see how the scanners or pat downs are any different. Doctors can do their job in a professional manner so why would the TSA be incapable of the same?

EDIT: In summary, I'll be on the "been searched" plane.

All the info that these scaners are safe seems to be comming from the scanner's manufacturer.
Does any one have proof of independent tests that verifies their harmlessness?
