First time car buy in... 20 minutes - Toyota Yaris Forums

Im 24 and buying my first car, its a 2010 3dr yaris manual with miniscule options (floor mats).

Took a day off work to go play the game and i got the dealership to give me a 13.8k walk out price. Did i do good or am i getting scammed?

Sounds OK!! I just picked up a 2010 3dr man W/pwr pkg for $13470 plus Tax title and all the other dealer fees, just under 15 Grand.
Almost bought a base model for a $100 less!
Called another dealer and they had this one.
I LIKE this car what a kick,5speed makes it fun to drive!
I added cruise control $150 bucks all toyota factory parts

It depends if "walk out price" is really the final price. By the time taxes and other items are added the cost could be more.

Hey these small cars are hard to get cheap!
Yeah I could have bought a Hyudai for 9 grand but what would i have??
You have a good car that you can drive for many years,
Toyotacare for 2 years! And when you go to sell it you will get something for it!!

That seems about right. I got my 2008 in the same configuration (new then) for $13.2k and that was 2-1/2 years ago.
($12.5k + fees)

I am now quickly approaching 69K miles and getting 40 - 45mgp on my commute.
