There are actually several threads on this. They are always posted by someone who has just done a spring install.
What you are seeing is normal, and the same in untouched factory setups. People seem to notice this and question it when they are dong a post install visual inspection. It goes unnoticed if nothing has been done to the car to warrant looking at the strut mount area. http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...6&postcount=34
