Automatic or manual transmission - Toyota Yaris Forums

I have a standard, my buddy has an automatic. We both drive about the same (fairly aggressive), but his is a 4-door hatch, I have a sedan. I get better MPG consistently. Which is eating the fuel? The transmission or the body shape?

The sedan is more aerodynamic.
