10w30 in synthetic is the same weight as dino in 10w30. It has been proven time and time again that synthetic doesn't break down as fast as dino. I'm not saying your enigne will last longer on synthetic but you can extend your intervals which is nice if you drive alot. All my vehicles have synthetic and none of them leak a drop of oil.
