if you're goin that far, why not throw in a ls7 or ls9 in there??? tunnel the center for a driveshaft and use the corvett or porsche trans/diff in the rear....with independant suspension. it's feasible.

or, throw in the turbo mr-2 engine in there? or, throw in the b-20 honda engine.

Frame rail modification is required. I have a thread in the forced induction section. There should be a link to the build photos. Just drop in an ls9 motor and call it a day ;).

I have a 2006 model Yaris though, so do you have any idea what's gonna happen there?

Or, how about what Renault did with their LeCar -> R5 and put the MR2 drivetrain in the back seat area. There was also a short run of "SHOgun" by some company: Yamaha V6 from the Taurus SHO into the back seat area of a Festiva.
