This is for those who are paying huge amount of money for cable TV.
you can spend as low as $10 a month for full access cable TV (even movie channels like HBO and Cinemax) Result may vary. All can be set up for around $200. If you are interested read on. First of all. Some may or may not know a device called Slingbox. Its around $180. I picked it up for $165 on Newegg. It allows you to steam Live TV to your PC, Phone, and even other TV's with no monthly fees. Here is what you need to do. Obviously buy the slingbox. Trust me, it will pay its self off with in 2-3 months. Now you have to find an initial host. Someone like your family, close neighbor or even close friend. They obviously have to have Cable in their homes. what you can do is ask them to rent an additional cable box that usually cost around $10. This is going to be your cable box in their home. No matter where they live from next door or 3000 miles away, it will still work. Connect the slingbox to the extra cable box they will get. The slingbox will now control it remotely from wherever you are. even if you are in another country. Now here is what you need on your end. You will need internet. since you are reading this, you probably already have one and you will need a PC/Laptop since obviously you would have one too since you are reading this as well. The internet signal should be around 3000KB sec speed or better for the best result. Now all you have to do is connect your PC to your TV. All new TV's have PC connection. I can connect my little MSI netbook via VGA cable or HDMI cable to my TV. Connect them together and go to slingbox website and log in. From there you can control the host Cablebox anyway you want and it is true live TV. Its really easy to do. Here is an example how I came up with it. I live in NY with my family here. Over thanksgiving holidays I went to Miami, FL for 10 days to our vacation home. We only go there maybe 4 times a year. We have a TV there with a Digital antenna, but no cable for obvious reasons. I already have a sling box set up here in NY. So I got lucky to have one of my neighbors wifi that is unlocked. I logged in to the wifi signal with my netbook and connected it to the TV via the HDMI cable. From there i can watch all of my shows and even access my DVR 1,500 miles away. pretty much free Cable TV while away. Thanks for reading. Any questions feel free to post them up Here is an example how the slingbox works through my iPhone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isz-Dv3ADR4

Not to sound rude, but this wasn't the original intent of slingbox was it?
