In my opinion, the washer nozzles are aimed wrong, the spray hits the wipers or below (when in motion). Very little fluid ever makes it up to the average person's line of sight....where the window needs to be cleaned.

One of my future projects is to find nozzles that will get the fluid stream above the wiper.

Ummm.... I think you'll find that if you stick a pin in the washer hole, you can rotate it and aim it wherever the heck you want.
Mine have always been find, so I haven't tried on the Yaris, but I have never owned a car that could be aimed like this (in 40 years of driving)
