There are exceptions. Since you're not a Canadian citizen if you're coming over for work/school you're able to bring your vehicle. I had a friend with a R33 Skyline here since the mid/late 1990's. I can't recall the exact process you have to go though but it does exist.

Yes, that was the way i understood. thanks for the post. From the web site given by MUSKOKA800, I have to talk to two different agencies and they will be able to tell me the process and what they need from me to register the car there.
