Rubbing where?
I'm on 16x7s +42 with 195/50/16s as well. 1.5 inch drop on Megans with 10mm wheel spacers in the rear. I only experience a rub on hard dips in the rear passenger side. No rubs at all if the wheel spacers are removed.
