I really don't need any USB ports but I'm sure in need of a few 12v outlets. Constantly switching between my smartphone and my GPS gets annoying. So I found this one on Amazon the other day. I'm going to hardwire it and position it under the passenger seat.
My HAM radio still needs to be installed but that will be wired direct also. My big hold-up is installing the antenna. |

If plugged into a lighter socket i'm wondering if 4 things plugged in would cause a problem with blown fuses.. |

Got home to find out that the middle position was probably intended for the cigarette lighter element that normally goes in. However, it is just a place to hold, as no power seems to be in the middle. Oh well, it was cheap. I haven't mounted it yet. What type of antenna mount are you thinking about? |

I have a short little Comet 2m/70cm with an NMO mount waiting to be mounted on the roof. Been a little slow to start on the project since pulling the headliner has me a little worried.
