the only reason I have an AEM intake is because I got it used (and cheap). Seriously, it's just a piece of pipe with a spot to bolt on the maf sensor.

As long as the pipe's ID is 2.25" you shouldn't have any issues.

the big thing is diameter (for the MAF to work right) & the quality of the filter
our stock intake is not that bad...but the stock intake on my old xB was a joke, i welded up my own aluminum cold air, sounded insane too

^ yeah, same thing for the Echo. Switching to the AEM intake freed up a whole lot power over the entire Rev range.

It's a decent price point, but really just a little cheaper than the Simota.
For $92.99 (shipped), and with what we all know must be a super cheap filter, it's not as good a deal as it seems. When you have to replace the filter (what is a "stainless steel filter", anyway?) with something good, you'll spend another $40 or so. Just saying. One of my pet peeves is companies that profit from the shipping. It just doesn't take $24 to send that out. I hope you guys would flame me off the board for profiting on shipping charges.
