possibly.. not saying your wrong, but there are other factors.
but to bring piece of mind to people. 1 quart over wont really do any damage. The worse it cuold do is splash more and get past the piston rings and cause some black smoke.. when i autocross.. I add an extra half a quart to my engine cuz when you take sharp turns as often and WOT constantly during track events, oil is pushed to one side. I have spun a bearing or two cuz i didnt "overfill" my oil. I would be more concerned with a low oil lvl then overfill. |
