Other aftermarket shift knobs do not come with adapters, but are fastened by using three screws on the bottom of the shift knob, which "grip" the stick shift. This is how MOMO shift knobs are secured to the stick shift.

I believe that is how Sparco works also. Is it worse than using adapters or is it about the same in durability standards (three screws compared to adapters)?
