Any chance of a sale?

Right now there are no deals offered at my local dealers on the Yaris other than maybe what I can negotiate on my own.Does Toyota routinely have an end of year sales event on all models or is it hit or miss depending on the model?

Never saw or heard of any type of sale or discount on the Yaris. Their margin is too small for them to do so really.

Normally they have special offers by now, or in August (low APR, etc). But seems how they are hard to find I don't know if there will be any.

Oh yeah, have to take into consideration the lack of inventory from a national standpoint with the quakes from Japan still affecting things therefore there could be more demand in certain areas driving the prices to not drop.

I have been getting emails from the two dealers that I am on the email lists for. They both have incentives on 2011 left overs, but only on certain models (and of course never on the Tacoma that I am currently shopping for).

When I bought my 2010 sedan in November 2010, Toyota was offering $2500 off. The dealer came down an additional $1000. I ended up paying 13,700 for a nicely equiped sedan w/ a manual trans.

Until Toyota recovers from the earthquake to the point of building excess inventory, I wouldn't expect deals on the Japan assembled cars.

I believe that there was some rebates in 08 or 09. I haven't heard of many rebates by any dealers lately.

If you want the 2011 model you better get it now. Don't wait for end of year sales to appear. I went to the dealer a few times in the last 3 weeks. They are going to end production end of July or early August then retool for the all new 2012. I got the last RS 5 speed to be made.

It's basically a take it or leave it proposition this year with Yaris' due to the earthquake/tsunami/nuclear meltdown.

I just looked in my deleted emails and the deals (0% for 60 months or cash back) are only on Camry, Corolla, Venza, and Avalon.
