There used to be a dent remover for sale that worked on some dents. I think Billy Maze even sold a version of it through infomercials. You suction-cupped the thing to the car on either side of the dent and tightened the center which you glued to the dent until it pulled the dent up and out. Kinda hard to describe but I would be looking for that before going to a shop.
