Bury a key in the dash
Hi all...I just installed a remote starter...but since I have an immobilizer...I must install a bypass module or I can bury a key in the dash...
A friend of mine gave the remote starter to me...and I dont want to spend money for the bypass so It would be all FREE And I don't really know where to put the key in the dash so the immobilizer see the key.... Can someone help me ? :)

That's a really good idea. And as usual CTScott has the answer. I have 3 keys for my car, 2 normal (black head with remote buttons) and a Valet Key (grey plastic head - non remote). Can the Valet key be used to trick the immobilizer to avoid butchering a normal key, or would I have to use one of the normal keys?

we usually use a corresponding key but leave it blank as there is no need to cut it. a/v guy just programs and hides away....
