Face it, Sail Design, we are clearly being visited by a superior intellect here, we should just pay attention, and ignore our own previous experiences and educations...

Dood - do you model tsunami waves, or are you an IT security consultant? Please make up your mind.
I don't honestly care which, but you are not sounding particularly together here. If you model tsunamis, that's fine - but if you are an IT expert, please don't pretend to be able to model things like that in the real world. I'm only a yacht designer/engineer. I don't pretend to have the naus to do sh!t like that, although I do understand wave energy spectral calcs and all that they imply.
Haven't you heard? We have a Jedi master here man the force is so strong in this one.

and I am NOT an IT -consultant-. I work on protecting information assets and
to give you a clue I work with everything from cryptographic algorithms, behavior analysis,
fractal mathematics, predictive analytics, biometrics, and how to keep cereal crispy.
I do not consult. I actually fix problems. Problems can have 1 element or 1000, and can be
anything you imagine. I have an IQ I am happy with and I seem to have an ability to
grasp any new subject or task with relative ease (relative to others in the same room,
working on the same issues).

I am no better at anything, than any other person. But I do my job well, that is all I can say.
how long it took you to google it?
Is fixing problems all you do?, the muffler bearings are making a grinding noise on the tranny can you tell me what's the problem!?
Do your self a favor stop bragging about how smart and intellectual and what you do and can't do it's not gonna get you anywhere here. Besides we got CTScott here for all that and he does not brag about anything helps and moves on.

I can only hope that the island that SailDesign lives on is higher than 25' above sea level.
Mother nature has no boundries and a 25' wave to a 1/4 mile high wave,
anything is possible. Now do the math.
A Dingo Ate My Baby = GOOD WORK!!
Again, you are correct.

I think we are at 65' at the highest point. Which still wouldn't stop a 25-ft wave from scouring the island down to the bedrock.

what is mostly funny is that SailDesign made a lot of assumptions about my post...
all I said was essentially 'brace yourselves, increased risk' and whatnot. I never claimed
anything. SailDesign makes assumptions and puts words in my mouth...
and he could have googled this information himself, therefore know where I got the info.

I just play along. Know who is trolling you.

Dingo - go back and re-read your own posts. I quoted you, that's all.

Your quote about being in IT came from another post - maybe you should re-read that thread, too.

Somehow that's not compatible with the aftermarket headlight fluid I'm running. It's also giving my tire springs some issues.

Yeah, for all his "smarts", you just know a couple of things: he seldom gets dirty hands, and he never applies his smarts to helping the handicapped, or to peaceful solutions, way too smart for that... I spent a decade or two helping the handicapped, and really needed an engineer to solve a transportation problem. Never saw anyone like Dingo to help solve it...
