I wouldn't say like crap- it would certainly fare better than most cars, however, compared to "other" competing cars- i.e., the RX-7 and NSX- the Supra falls FAR short. You could dump thousands into a Supra in just suspension work, and it would handle a little better than a stock RX-7, and still not touch the NSX.

It probably would have been more accurate to call the Supra a pig.

You're right, a lot of it has to do with the standard you are measuring it against. For me it was my 94 Miata with sticky tires. Not fair I suppose.

It was a little faster though...
