I was disappointed when we got our winter tires on steelies and was told they couldn't find 15 " ones like the originals.
So, every six months...I have to retrain my brain from the actual speed ...to adding 5 mph in winter.....to know how fast I am going. But.... The wife? She drives faster than I would like her too, so I don't remind her to compensate, so in a 55 zone she thinks she is really going 65...and it is only 60 or so. Worth the extra thinking as the snow tires were the saving grace of winter driving up here. More bite and grip! But honestly, I wish my speedometer was telling me like it really is. A gps works too. |
