i have a question to (rather than make a new thread) sorry
but would something like this (tow basket) fit on a sedan or is there no connection under the read bumper ?

(i know this one is on an suv)

A basket would work with a sedan and aftermarket receiver (discussed above) however I've yet to see a basket for a 1 1/4" receiver. All I've seen are 2". An adapter might be available???

1.25" do exist. Considerably lighter duty than the one pictured above. That thing looks like the work platform on a hydrolic scaffold.
