piston diameter is larger on xd/corolla calipers, therefore move fluid volume is required to move the piston the same distance, it takes a longer master cylinder stroke to move more fluid and create the same pressure at the brake pad. in all reality we prolly should be upgrading to a larger bore diameter master cylinder to go with this caliper upgrade. our master cylinder bore diameter is 13/16" and the xd master bore diameter is 7/8"
